ChatGPT is helping workers in real estate, finance and health care do their jobs — Business d’Or

In the three months since artificial intelligence tool ChatGPT was introduced to the world, workers have already harnessed it to make their lives easier. Professionals in fields including real estate, health care and finance say they save time and work more efficiently using AI.

Write me a real estate listing:

Mala Sander, a top real estate agent for the Corcoran Group who focuses on the Hamptons, has been using ChatGPT regularly for the past couple of weeks to help her write real estate listings and devise marketing strategies for properties.

“I asked it to write me ad copy about a house in Bridgehampton with a pool and tennis court on two acres and I listed the other features I wanted to highlight,” she told CBS MoneyWatch.
“And we’re going to turn these fantastic copies into something we can actually use.”

Also uses ChatGPT to change ad tone. “I say things like ‘write for millennials’ or ‘make it fun’. ChatGPT can edit that and make it more concise,” she said.

On a whim, she asked her bot to write a marketing plan for one of her own ads.
Delivered. She told CBS MoneyWatch that this gave her analysis of campaigns that included digital, print and social work.

“We’ve talked about everything from direct mail to online digital advertising to social media, and we’ve even given you the perfect ratio,” Sander said.

Having been an agent for the past 20 years, Sander is very capable and efficient even without ChatGPT.

“But it’s useful.” She said. “It’s like talking to another person, almost like having work therapist to say, ‘Am I moving in the right direction with this or should be looking at some other things?’”

Elia Mazor, marketing manager for The Glazer Team at Corcoran, said he also uses ChatGPT to write listings and create other content.

“Sometimes you get writer’s block, so I use ChatGPT for a bit of inspiration and to provide a different tone,” he said.

Financial planner’s assistant:

Certified financial planner Michael Reynolds uses the chatbot to help him draft blog posts that educate his clients about financial documents like wills and trusts.

He tells ChatGPT the topic he wants to address, and enters a prompt like: “ChatGPT, create an introduction on why estate planning is important.

He provides paragraphs that Reynolds edits with his own voice.

In a recent article on estate planning, Reynolds used ChatGPT to convey the message to readers that “Estate planning is an act of love for those left behind.”

“I asked ChatGPT to explain this and he made up a few paragraphs about why it would be smart and tactful to do something like this,” Reynolds said.

This process took about 20 minutes. According to him, it takes about two hours for just one article.

He doesn’t use tools to help his clients make financial decisions. It’s still a purely human thing, says Reynolds.

“Financial planning is very subtle, individual and personal. It’s hard to imagine using ChatGPT to make recommendations without the client’s knowledge. Besides what I do, I think making learning materials is more valuable.”

“We don’t just count numbers, we train people, listen to their problems and help them talk about their emotional situations. The creative and delicate work we do as humans is indispensable today.”

Nick Meyer, another financial planner who makes short videos on TikTok, said he uses TikTok as a starting point for coming up with ideas for new content.

“I use it instead of searching Google to get ideas on a topic or to edit something I’ve already written,” he said. It also helps to make your videos interesting.

“You can put a few lines in the script and say, ‘Make it more comedic, or put a joke in that line, or make it shorter,’” Meyer said.

“Gobs” of medical information:

Board-certified emergency physician Harvey Castro is advising digital health companies on how to best integrate ChatGPT into the health care sector.

He says one good application is creating and translating patient discharge instructions — rules for them to follow after a medical visit.

An expert in emergency medicine, if he were asked a dermatology-related question he was unsure about, Castro said he’d enter the query into ChatGPT for more information. In the past, he relied on other clinical search engines and resources like MDConsult, now called ClinicalKey.

“I could type it in and it would give me gobs of information. So it’s an addition,” said Castro.

Also, according to Castro, doctors use it to input a patient’s symptoms and obtain a differential diagnosis, a list of possible conditions associated with the symptoms. “This is already happening today.” He said.

Medical Licensing Examination.

exam preparation service has a limited number of practice questions and ChatGPT can generate new questions for any subject based on the prompts provided. Also helps prepare for patient interaction, but is only used for medical education, not patient care.

“When a patient comes to me with an unknown disease, I can go to ChatGPT and read about it,” he said. Also provides information to help you examine the patient more thoroughly.
“Ask him for guidance on the types of questions to ask to conduct a comprehensive patient interview.”
